POP – UP #1: YAW TONY
In 2018, BLDG. 333 financed and facilitated the production of the launch of a line of silk scarves by Scarborough-based, Ghanaian artist and designer Yaw Tony under the name Life Liveth. This included the production of a pop-up exhibition at BLDG. 333. Yaw Tony’s work takes inspiration from Ghanaian proverbs that he interprets with a highly sophisticated graphic sensibility and dramatic flair for unique colour combinations. BLDG. 333 continues to work with Yaw Tony as a business consultant.
